Abstract
Sayyid Qutb is
one of the controversial commentators, it is apparent from the interpretation
of some verses of the Qur'an, especially with respect to the faith. His ideas
contained in the book of commentary that is fi Zhilâl the Qur'an that get a lot
of criticism from other Muslim leaders. one of the interesting things about the
concept of thinking is dhalalah or error. As an ideology of Al-Muslim
Brotherhood in Egypt he had radical ideas, especially relating to the political
and legal system. He believes there are only two things in this world, namely
Muslims or infidels, God's law or the law syaithan. The thinking on this is
regarded as neo thoughts Khawarij in this century. Especially when he mentioned
that today Muslims are nothing more than ignorance of the modern age. His ideas
are very interesting to be materials research, especially with regard to the
interpretation of the verses of the Qur'an.
This study will
focus on the interpretation of Sayyid Qutb of the verses about dhalalah or
error. To be more comprehensive then discussed also about the meaning dhalalah
in the Qur'an, Sayyid Qutb biographies and characteristics Zilal Fi Tafsir
Al-Quran as compared to other books of tafsir.
Research methods
used in this study is a qualitative method approach maudhu'i interpretation
method that is the method that seek verses of the Koran in accordance with the
theme through a dictionary Mu'jam Mufahras Alfadz Koran, then looking at the
book of commentary which is the primary source and the other as a supporting
book of commentary. Data taken from the verses relating to the term dhalalah
interpreted by Sayyid Qutb in Zilal Fi Tafseer of the Qur'an. It is also used
other books that reinforce the pedanapt. Analysis of data using content
analysis, especially in the passages concerned, further disaggregated
considered the most powerful opinion represents the thinking of Sayyid Qutb.
The research in
this thesis shows that the meaning dhalalah the Qur'an is divided into two in
the language (etymology) and terminology (the term). In language, the term
meaningful dhalalah lost, wasted and lost. While the term is the deviation from
the path of Allah Ta'ala in the form of not heed the commands of Allah and His
Messenger. Sayyid Qutb understands that the error referred to in the Qur'an is
no human error in the form of idolatry, infidelity, hypocrisy, wickedness and
opposition to the laws of Allah.
